How to approach your application

  • choose the right route of application

  • make sure you read ALL of the guidance notes as you move through the forms.
  • If you miss something and we then make a mistake on your application because of it, it will slow your application down and, if its an Access Card application, it could result in us having to charge £5 to reprint a new card for you
  • Make sure answers give us enough information to make a decision on your entitlement to a symbol
  • Make sure your uploads are legible and meet the guidance notes on what we can and cannot take into account
  • Payment for Access Card applications at the end of the form is optional but if you don't pay this will significantly slow down your application
